Overview
In 2002, stuntmen George Nelson and Russell Clay summoned Steve Wargo to shoot "The Gunfighter". After some very fierce negotiations, production was scheduled. The awesome cast consists of about two dozen stunt performers and was filmed at Historic Cowtown, Arizona, near Lake Pleasant. The guns were real, the dynamite was real, the stunts were real and the acting was real. The most dangerous stunts were only performed after principal photography was wrapped, just in case something went horribly wrong. Originally billed as "The Gunfighter", after shooting began (cameras, not guns), the title was changed to "The Last Gunfighter". |
